  • Jocelyn R. Wiley, 14, Brookfield, died Monday morning, Aug. 4, 2014. at Children’s Mercy Hospital, Kansas City.
    Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at Real Time Fellowship, with Vladimir Lukyanov officiating. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at the church with family receiving friends from 5–7 p.m. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. .

    Jocelyn Renee was born on March 12, 2000, in St. Joseph, daughter of Jennifer Wiley and Paul Buckner Jr. She was a member of the Brookfield R-3 eighth grade class and loved to cook, draw, sing and listen to music.
    She is survived by her mother, Jennifer Alsbury and husband, Rusty, Independence; brothers and sisters, Jason Camlen, Jr. Jainessa and Jazmine Camlen, Jerrica, Julie and Michael Alsbury, all of Independence, Bladen Chowning, Marceline, Quincy, Dareon and Aidden Buckner, Brookfield; grandparents, Judy Hughes and husband, David, Chillicothe and Teresa Moore and husband, Kenny, Marceline; four aunts, two uncles and many cousins.
    Jocelyn was preceded in death by her grandfather, Lawrence Wiley; great-grandmother, Dorothy Wiley; great-aunts and great- uncles.
