  • William “Bill” Joseph Carter, age 56, of Marceline died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Macon, Missouri.

  • William “Bill” Joseph Carter, age 56, of Marceline died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Macon, Missouri.
    Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Marceline. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery of New Cambria. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline.
    Memorials to Food Bank of  Central and Northeast Missouri, Columbia, may be left at or mailed to funeral home, 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
    Bill was born in Kirksville on December 11, 1957, to George and Cecelia (Mitch) Carter. He married Patricia Anne Stanley on May 20, 1988.
    Bill was the Computer-MIS Director at Moore Fans, Marceline, a member of the St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Marceline, and an area resident all his life.
    He is survived by his wife, Pat Carter, of the home in Marceline; sons, Tim Burch and Tera Werths, Warrensburg, Josh and Megan Burch, Holts Summit, John and Missy Burch, Jefferson City, and Joe and  Raluca Burch, Amesbury, MA; daughters, Amy and Michael Powell, Kearney, Heather and Trent Seal, Norman, OK, Amy and Josh Dinwiddie, Olathe, KS, and Jenny and Brad Gilbertson, Macon; two brothers, Rob and Mike Carter, New Cambria; three sisters, Jean and Roy Schimming, Pickering, Carol and Greg Burstert, New Cambria, and Patrice and Steve Cook, Blackwater; and 16 grandchildren, Tyler, Seth, Emma, Mason, Delaney, Kadee, Zoey, Piffy, Foster, Aylia, Rogun, Isaac, Ian, Ray, Austin, and Lexie.
    He was preceded in death by his parents.
