It's great to be back!

Following a draining season last year, I took a long break from blogging. I'm sorry if you were disappointed. Focusing on slowing down and applying God's word to my own life day by day, was all I had the energy left to do. I felt like I had to really zero in and focus, regroup with my family, and seek the Lord and His will.  Yes, I think it was time very well spent.  My stomach healed from a terrible burn, after at least four weeks of treating it with Burdock leaves, salve, and much prayer. Boy, it got ugly. I also faced temptations to go my own way in some other personal decisions and ignore what God had already taught me many times before"but I resisted.

I've entered into a new season of motherhood"three adult sons have flown our nest at this point. Now, only four daughters and two sons remain at home for us to raise up. Now, the time has come to prepare our oldest young ladies for their future, and to soak in every opportunity with them.

In this new season, I pray you'll continue to enjoy all the blog encouragement found on Splashing In Grace! How can we not celebrate all the grace God pours out on us day after day? There's so much of it"let's just splash in it and trust Him to help us every step of the way.  Let's also persevere together in the midst of life's joys and afflictions, and look forward to the victorious moments beyond  them.

I know there's hope on the other side, yes, I am one who knows all too wellpraise God!

“What is faith? It is the confident assurance that something we want

is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is waiting

for us,  even though we cannot see it up ahead.”
