Jessica Biel has been on our TV screens since 1996, and now -- over two decades later -- she's just received her first-ever Emmy nomination! The nod comes for her role as Cora in the first season of the USA show The Sinner. The network is preparing Season 2, but Biel won't be in front of the camera this time. Instead, she'll remain behind the scenes as one of the program's executive producers.

Bill Pullman is returning as Detective Harry Ambrose, and joining him this year will be Carrie Coon's mysterious new character, Vera. Ambrose returns to his rural New York hometown to investigate a strange crime: An 11-year-old boy (Elisha Henig) has apparently murdered his parents with no motive. While Ambrose digs deeper into the darkness of his hometown, Vera will do whatever it takes to protect certain secrets.

USA will debut The Sinner Season 2 on August 1st, at 10/9c. It's the first of eight episodes, and you won't want to miss it. But if you can't get to your TV that evening, be sure to catch the episode via USANetwork.com or through the fuboTV streaming service.
