A 45-day investigation by the Marceline Police Department ended Tuesday with the arrest of Irvin J. Rill, 59, of Kansas City in Moniteau County Missouri.
On Feb 15th officers of the Marceline Police Department began investigating a burglary at the Outback Saloon, 10031 South Missouri St. Officers found evidence of forced entry into the bar after business hours. A large amount of coin was taken from machines inside of the business.
During the investigation, officers were able to link this burglary with several other burglaries of the same type across North Central and North West Missouri. Officers were able to obtain still photographs of the suspect and vehicle in several of the burglaries.

Witnesses were then able to positively identify Rill from photo lineups in conjunction with several of the ongoing investigations. On 03/23/17 officers of the Marceline Police Department applied for and were granted a warrant for Rill’s arrest on charges of Burglary 2nd Degree and Property Damage 1st Degree with a $50,000 cash only bond.
