The election of a new mayor and mayor pro- tem are on the agenda for Tuesday night’s regular meeting of the Neosho City Council.

The election of a new mayor and mayor pro- tem are on the agenda for Tuesday night’s regular meeting of the Neosho City Council.  
Election returns from the April 4 election will also be canvassed during the meeting.   
New business will include an update from the Neosho Chamber of Commerce, variance requests for the Lane Apartments, and other matters.
Appointments to vacancies on several boards are also on tap.  Vacancies exist on the Board of Adjustments (Zoning), Economic development sales tax committee, the Enhanced Enterprise Zone Board, Ethics board, historic district commission (for one Downtown Neosho property owner), Neosho Housing Authority, Planning and Zoning Commission, and the TIF commission.  A three-year vacancy for a pilot at large for the Airport Industrial Development board also exists.  Other items on the agenda will also be under discussion.
    The Neosho City Council will meet in regular session on Tuesday April 18, 2017 at 7pm in City Hall Council Chambers, 203 East Main Street in Neosho.
