Wanda Faye McClain-McElrarth, 50, was called home Thursday, May 11, 2017.

Upon her request, a cremation service honoring Wanda's life will be at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Columbia, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, followed by a repass at 1:00 p.m.

Wanda was born June 16, 1966 in Portageville, to Jeffella McClain and Virgil Horn.

Wanda is greatly loved and cherished. She had a very warm and witty personality and loved to be the life of the party. Wanda was known to help whomever she could, and loved cooking for her family and friends. She was a great storyteller, listener and advisor to life and will be greatly missed!

Wanda leaves to cherish five children, ShaMise, Ann, Moenita, Melvin and Victoria all of Columbia; thirteen grandchildren; five sisters, Mary, Paulette, Joanne, Doris and Elaine; five brothers, Tommy, Paul, Winford, Larry and Dennis. Along with a host of extended family members and friends.

Wanda was proceeded in death by her parents; Jeffella McClain and Virgil Horn; two brothers, Eulus McClain and Johnny McClain; two nieces, Glenda Sipho and Danielle McClain; two nephews, Alex Sipho Jr. and Paul McClain Jr.
