A ribbon cutting ceremony was held at Monday at 4 p.m. for Advanced Medical Express Clinic in Brookfield.

The clinic has recently expanded to full-time hours and has started accepting new patients.

Advanced Medical Express Clinic first opened in Brookfield in 2016 next to Pigskin Pub on East Brooks Street. In May of 2017, the clinic moved to the Brookfield Plaza, but operated on limited hours. Now the business has full-time hours and is accepting new patients.

According to Paulette Holtz Advanced Medical Express Clinic office manager, the business is expanding.

“We’re expecting new patients now that we have expanded our hours,” Holtz said. “We’ve added new services by appointment as well.”

Mike Holtz is the nurse practitioner at the clinic. Holtz has been a nurse practitioner for four years and has been a nurse for 20 years.

Advanced Medical Express Clinic is now open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eleven a.m. to 5 p.m., will be used for appointments and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. will be used for walk-ins. The clinic is also open Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for walk-ins.

Holtz says the clinic is always open to new patients.

“We’ll always try to fit in walk-ins, any time or any day,” Holtz said.

The clinic offers primary care for all ages, blood drawing, physicals, urgent care, laceration repair, therapy, IV infusions and tele-meds for established patients.

Advanced Medical Express Clinic joined the Brookfield Chamber of Commerce in May, prior to the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Advanced Medical Express Clinic is located at 624 W. Lockling Avenue in the Brookfield Plaza.
