50 utility poles downed; Linneus without power

Linneus, Mo. -
LINN COUNTY — Early this morning, high winds took out approximately 50 utility poles along Route P, just northwest of Brookfield.
The emergency 911 dispatcher reported late this morning that the town of Linneus is without electricity, apparently as a result of the downed utility poles.
Services at the Linn County Courthouse will be curtailed until power is restored.
So far, as of 11 a.m., no injuries or property damage had been reported.
