While we can’t say why those dogs are missing, we want to do our part to get them located and returned to their rightful owners. The following is a list of missing dogs with their descriptions. Please contact the owners if you know anything about these missing canines.
· A white 120-pound Great Pyrenees named Guy has been missing from 36956 Highway WW since November 5, 2011. He is wearing a green John Deere collar with ‘Majors’ written on it. If you have information concerning this missing dog, call Jennie Majors at (660) 591-2519.
· A white Shih Tzu with carmel ears named ‘Katie’ has been missing from the Hillside Drive area (Farview Heights) in Brookfield. Katie weighs three of four pounds, has very short hair, and has been missing since January 15. Please contact the owner at (660) 258-3535 if you have information about Katie. A reward is being offered.
· A male tri-colored Beagle named Sam missing in Brookfield. Please call Jeff at (660) 734-3152 if you know the whereabouts of Sam.
· A 12-year-old tan and ‘grayish-brown’ dog that weighs 13 pounds, is hard of hearing, and has eyes that are turning blue. This dog is missing from the area of East Brooks St. in Brookfield. · A light brown male Jack Russell mix named ‘Duke’ that has been missing from the Sumner area since Nov. 27, 2011. Duke weighs 20 pounds and is four or five years old. He is wearing a red collar. Please call John at (636) 697-2220 if you know the whereabouts of Duke.
· A two-year-old Mastiff mix named ‘Bo’ that has been missing from the area of Highway ZZ in Marceline since Aug. 23, 2011. Please call the Humane Society Shelter at 258-3322 if you have information about any dog matching this description.
