This winter weather has been amazing so far! I hope it stays this nice throughout the whole time. I pray for no bad weather at all!! But I do know the kids would really enjoy some snow to play in just as long as it’s not too much!!! Hahahaha. Everyone stay safe and warm and have a Happy Valentine’s Day!!!!!
The Elk’s… The Lady Elks will be having their first fundraiser for 2012 - their Valentine's Day dinner on Feb. 10th. Soup and dessert will be served along with the regular steak night menu options. Roses will also be available to purchase for your sweetheart!
The Hope Haven Recycling Trailer will return next month to Southside Equipments parking lot at the Brookfield Plaza February 8th-15th. Hope Haven will continue to empty each Friday & Monday mornings and pick back up on Wednesday!!!

99.1 KDWD…….. My Country 99.1 website now has online streaming “Listen Live” option available. The website address is: www.mycountry991.com. The “listen live” option is on the right side towards the top. They have listeners from all over the world! They’ve had a lot of feedback from people saying that they enjoy being able to listen to them live in their offices, etc without having a radio. Also people have shared this with relatives out of town/state, so they can follow the local games. So tune in to hear how your favorite local team is doing!!!!!!
