Marceline Man Arrested for Sodomy

 A Marceline man was arrested in Marceline yesterday afternoon for allegedly sodomizing a 10-year-old boy.
In a press release, Linn County Prosecutor Tracy Carlson advises that Marceline Police Officers, with the assistance of the Missouri Highway Patrol, served an arrest warrant on 60-year-old David R. Darr at his residence in Marceline (400 West Walker St.).
Darr is charged with two counts of the unclassified felony of Statutory Sodomy in the First Degree, allegedly committed on June 8, 2007 while the boy was a guest in Darr’s home. Darr’s bond was set at $100,000, cash or surety and as of 9 a.m. today, he was still in custody in the Livingsaton County Jail.
