The Walsworth Community Building had a full house on January 24 in Marceline, MO. Four area Catholic Churches came together to worship and fellowship together for the 2nd annual ‘Community Mass’. The theme for the day was ‘We are all One’. Banners were made by each Parish to display and to help remind us that we are coming together from different Parishes, but we are worshiping as one.
The Parishes involved were: St. Bonaventure Church, Marceline, St. Mary’s Church of Wien, Immaculate Conception Church of Brookfield and St. Joseph Church of Hurricane Branch.
Father Jerry Kaimann offered Mass in the spacious building and various parishioners were asked to speak throughout the day. Special offerings were presented from each parish to represent our area and connect them to the Family, Church, Diocese and the Blessed Mother.
