Last night, the Brookfield Bulldogs wrestling team hosted Polo and Trenton for a tri-meet at the BHS gym.  Each team dualed one another, and the Dogs split their two duals on this occasion.

Against Trenton’s varsity, the Dogs lost 43-27 with opens again costing the squad.  “When you win, you aren’t as good as you think you are,” said Head Coach Ben Jackson.  “But on the same token, when you lose, its not as bad as you think.  We must continue to make small improvements as we head towards District’s.  We have already made a lot of progress.”

Against Polo, the Dogs won the dual 42-36.  “It was good to see the team bounce back after a tough loss,” said Coach Jackson.  “They wrestled with intensity, and ended the night on a high note.”
