Joe G. Eckley, 79, of Paris, died Friday, March 16, 2018 at Boone Hospital Center.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at East Lawn Memorial Park in Mexico.

Joe was born on Aug. 17, 1938 in Audrain County to William Leonard and Lena Pearl (Adams) Eckley.

Joe was a life long member of the Carpenter Union Local 1925, had previously been on the Paris Senior Citizens board, was an avid collector and a member of the Centralia Baptist Church.

Joe had previously lived in Mexico and Perry, MO.

He was married to Martha Lou Riggs who preceded him in death. He later married Mary Ann McAdams who survives at the home. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Julie Jo Barton (Eddie) of Paris, Shelia R. Wood (Rod) of Hull, IL, and Lesa Lacy (Richard) of Lewistown, MO; four grandchildren, Riley Jo Barton, Reese Edward Barton, Andrew Parker Wood, and Austin Pierce Wood; a sister Barbara Baker of Florida; two brothers, Earl Eckley of Alaska and Terry Eckley of Hatton and three sons and a daughter from a previous marriage.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Louise and a son-in-law Rodney P. Wood.

Memorials may be made to the Paris Senior Citizens in care of Arnold Funeral Home.
