Bonnie S. Gladbach
Bonnie S. Gladbach, age 81 of Marceline, died Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Life Care Center of Brookfield. Bonnie was born in Marceline, Missouri on January 6, 1937 to O.M. and Maxine S. (Dorrell) Kothe. She married Vernon E. Gladbach on July 18, 1975 and he preceded her in death in 2003.
Bonnie had worked at Walsworth Publishing Company and played in several bands including Bonnie and the Country Five. She was a member of the St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, Altar Society and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
She is survived by a son, Martin Shane Moore and Kathy of Marceline, stepson Gary and Kathy Rose Gladbach of Marceline, stepdaughter Patty and Charlie Logan of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, sister Sharon Love of Sedalia, ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Vernon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Marceline with burial in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Tuesday, May 8 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline with Rosary at 7:45 PM. Memorials to St. Bonaventure Cemetery can be mailed to 1720 N. Sabrina Jo Frock
Sabrina Jo Frock, age 27, of Brookfield, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018, at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 12, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor David Blakely officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
Sabrina Jo, daughter of Denise and Norven Slaughter and Allen Frock, was born June 17, 1990, in Brookfield.
Sabrina lived most of her life in the Brookfield area. She attended Brookfield High School and worked as a front desk clerk at the Martin House Motel in Brookfield.
Survivors include her four-year-old son, Brandon of the home; her parents, Denise and Norven Slaughter, and Allen Frock all of Brookfield; three sisters, Charlotte Lane and husband, Jason of Brookfield, Shayna Williams of Marceline, and Katherine Slaughter of Brookfield; two brothers, Jonathan Frock and fiancée, Heather Vandergriff of Brookfield, and Scott Slaughter of Excelsior Springs; one grandmother, Marietta Slaughter of Macon; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Sabrina was preceded in death by her brother, Branden Slaughter; grandfather, David Van Trump; grandmother Carrie Van Trump; grandparents Henry and Carrie Frock; grandfather, Dean Slaughter; and aunt, Charlotte Martz.
Lois Purdin, age 92, of Purdin, died Friday, May 4, 2018, at Pioneer Skilled Health Facility in Marceline.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor Rex Leppin officiating. Burial will be in Purdin Cemetery in Purdin.

Lois Nadine, daughter of John “J.I.” and Emily (Salisbury) Purdin, was born April 24, 1926, in Meadville.
Lois was a homemaker and work 10 years at Brown Shoe Factory in Brookfield. She also spent many years wallpapering for people in the community.
She was a member of the Purdin Church of Christ, that closed in December 2016.
Survivors include many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Jerry W. Brumback
Jerry W. Brumback, age 77 of Marceline, died Friday, May 4, 2018 at Pershing Memorial Hospital. Jerry was born in Macon on January 3, 1941 to Homer and Helen (Kilgore) Brumback. Jerry had worked as a barber.
He is survived by daughter, Debbie Smith and Raymond of Cookeville, Tennessee, sister Jean Ann Milroy, Wisconsin, two grandchildren, Alex and Austin Daniels, and great grandson Levi Herington. He was preceded in death by his parents and twin sister Virginia Brumback.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Bethlehem Cemetery southeast of Macon. Visitation will be from 12:30 – 1 PM at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline.
Charles M. Snyder
Charles M. Snyder, age 85 of Bucklin, died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Life Care Center of Brookfield. Charles was born in Brookfield, Missouri on July 22, 1932 to Harry Andrew and Luella (Madison) Snyder. He married Darla Hayes on June 7, 1959 and she survives him.
Charles was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a middle school teacher at Ritenour School in St. Louis County. He was a member of the American Legion Post #57 of Bucklin, MFA Cooperative, and the Bucklin Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife Darla Snyder of the home in Bucklin, three daughters, Tracey Jenkins and James of Ulen, Minnesota, Angela S. Thacker and Kenneth N. of Zions Cross Roads, Virginia, Shelley Fonceca and husband Marty of Star, Idaho, two grandchildren, DeeVa L. Payne and Dekker N. Payne, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Harry Richard Snyder and sister Carolyn Montgomery.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Bucklin Christian Church. Burial with Military Honors in the Masonic Cemetery, Bucklin. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Delaney Funeral Home in Bucklin. Memorials may be made the American Legion Post #57 and mailed to 41 Locust, Bucklin, MO 64631.
Laura Tinsley, age 77, of Spickard, died Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Kindred Hospital in Kansas City.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 10, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Roger Shoemaker officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield.
Laura Jean, daughter of Bill and Nadine (Neeley) Aldrich, was born April 20, 1941, in Brookfield. On July 27, 1960, she married Billy Joe Tinsley who preceded her in death on May 26, 2015.
Laura was a homemaker and worked as a waitress and dishwasher at a local restaurant.
Survivors include her son, Bill Tinsley of Spickard; five grandchildren, Bill Thomas Tinsley and wife, Kaci of Trenton, Michael Tinsley, Chris Tinsley, Joey Tinsley and Amber Tinsley all of McKenzie, Tennessee; and five great-grandchildren, Carson Tinsley, Addy Tinsley, Kaygan Tinsley, and Brayton Tinsley all of Trenton, and Michael Declan Tinsley of McKenzie, Tennessee.
Her parents; one son, Mike Tinsley; and two brothers, Carl Lee Aldrich and Billy Aldrich also preceded her in death.
