Bonnie Zoe Carter, age 84, of Brookfield, passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Life Care Center of Brookfield.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Rhodes Funeral Home, with Tom Parks officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Bonnie Zoe, daughter of Kenneth William Nickell and Ophelia (Harris) Nickell, was born January 13, 1934 in Humeston, IA. On February 9, 1951 she was united in marriage to Guy Lane “Buck” Carter at the First Christian Church, Brookfield, MO. She was a long time member of South Eagle Methodist Church. Bonnie loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and singing.
She is survived by her husband Guy, of the home; her two children, Kenneth Carter, Brookfield; and Gianna Booth and her husband Russell, Branson; one brother, James Nickell and wife Betty, Hannibal; one sister-in-law, Roanne Nickell, Montana; three grandchildren, Michael Carter, Shaun Carter, and wife Leticia; and Kevin Carter, and wife Jennifer, all of Brookfield; five great-grandchildren, LaNaeya Carter, Shaquille Carter, Kendrel Carter, Raquel Carter, and Camryn Carter; two great-great grandchildren, as well as several other family members and friends.

Betty Molloy, age 95, of Meadville, died Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Morningside Center in Chillicothe.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Meadville with Pastor Keith Sisney officiating. Burial will be in Meadville Cemetery in Meadville. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Betty Ross, daughter of Ross and Beulah (Kimbrough) Palmer, was born May 13, 1923, in Chula. On August 28, 1940, she married Virgil Ray Molloy who preceded her in death on March 21, 1990.
Betty was a homemaker. She also worked many years at Meadville Locker and Martin’s Market in Meadville.
She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church west of Purdin.
Survivors include her children, Barbara DeVaul of Meadville and Mack Molloy and wife, Lisa of Carrollton; eight grandchildren, Mike Sargent and wife, Kathy, Paula Fairchild and husband, Tony, Clint DeVaul and wife, Donna, Andrew Molloy and wife, Megan, Alex Molloy and wife, Kristine, Tom Molloy, Rachael Molloy, and Beverly Molloy; 11 great-grandchildren, Jessica DeVaul, Garrett DeVaul, Katie O’Dell and husband, Doug, Kaci Peterson and husband, Ryan, Kellie Sargent, Cecelia Molloy, Ella Molloy, Sam Molloy, Carter Molloy, Karlin Fairchild, and Kennedi Fairchild; three great great-grandchildren, Luke O’Dell, Ada O’Dell, and Nicholas Peterson; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Her parents; one daughter, Beverly Sargent; two sons-in-law, Larry Sargent and Richard DeVaul; five brothers, Ted Palmer, Harold Palmer, Bob Palmer, Norman Palmer, and Wendall Palmer; and two sisters, Hazel Hansen and Margaret Buckner also preceded her in death.
Elmer Tiemeyer, age 89, of Meadville, died Sunday, June 3, 2018, at his home.
Funeral services are pending at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield.
Jimmie D. Chrisman
Jimmie D. Chrisman, age 52 of Omaha, Arkansas formerly of Marceline, died Friday, June 1, 2018 at his son’s home. Jimmie was born in Marceline, Missouri on May 15, 1966 to Gene J. and Donna J. (Cupp) Chrisman. He married Maria Stuart on September 11, 2005 at Brookfield.
Jimmie had worked at a tire service shop in Omaha and was a former member of the Brookfield Eagles.
He is survived by his wife Maria Chrisman of the home in Omaha, mother Donna Chrisman of Marceline, sons, John Chrisman of Omaha, AR; Dustin and Calli Stuart of Columbia and Wyatt Shea, state of Oklahoma, daughter Kelsey Chrisman of Marceline, five grandchildren, Anthony Chrisman of Omaha, AR; Isabelle Dameron of Independence and Robert, Curtis and Colton Stuart all of Columbia, and parents-in-law Bob and Marjorie Stuart of Marceline. He was preceded in death by his father and sister Janice Cupp.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Marceline. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, June 5 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Heart Association and mailed to 1720 N. Missouri Ave. Marceline, MO 64658.
Dennis Matticks, age 63 of Eldon, Missouri, died Monday, June 4, 2018 at University Hospital in Columbia. Arrangements are pending at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline.
Virginia Lee Judas

Virginia Lee Judas, age 76, departed her earthly life on June 3, 2018 at McLaney Manor in Brookfield.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday June 6, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Jim Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be in New Boston Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday starting at 1:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening.

Virginia was a member of the New Boston Christian Church and a life-long resident of the New Boston community. She enjoyed camping at the Missouri State Fair with family and friends, especially with her two grandchildren. She loved working in her yard and vegetable garden.
Virginia Lee Judas daughter of Louis (Bus) and Lottie Davis Diehl was born September 12, 1941, in Sumner, Mo. June 1958, she married Dennis Elster Judas in New Boston.
Survivors include her son, Kevin Judas and wife Sue of New Boston, one grandson Branden Judas (Jody Munsterman) of Laclede, one granddaughter Christina Judas and fiancé Matt Caldwell of Concordia; one great-grandson Decker Judas; her significant other, Rickie Richardson of New Boston; half brothers and sisters; Jim Diehl (Connie) of Overland Park, KS, Pam Monteleone (Jim) of Liberty, Karen Lesmeiester (Harold) of Butler, Connie Pointing (Terry) of Sumner, Gary Diehl (Diana) of Sumner, aunt Shirlene Fitzgerald of New Boston; cousins Gary W. Johnson of St. Joseph, Dale Fitzgerald (Terry) of New Boston, Tammy Sartain (Melvin) of Marceline, and Robert Fitzgerald of New Boston.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Dennis, and infant daughter Dena.
