Elmer Tiemeyer

Elmer Tiemeyer, age 89, of Meadville, died Sunday, June 3, 2018, at his home.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at United Methodist Church in Meadville. Burial will be in Wheeling Cemetery in Wheeling. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 6, 2018, beginning at 1:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield.

Elmer Earl, son of George and Viola (Watson) Tiemeyer, was born January 27, 1929, in Livingston County, near Wheeling. On June 9, 1952, he married Julia Timmons.

Elmer was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Meadville United Methodist Church.

He was a Veteran of the US Army, a member of the VFW Post #4557 in Brookfield, and a past member of the Meadville School Board serving for six years.

Survivors include his wife Julia of the home; two daughters, Teresa Miller and husband, Bob of Keytesville and Jolene Stubblefield and husband, Jeff of Marshall; three granddaughters, Andrea McPherson and husband, Tim of Glenwood, Iowa, Melanie Hunt and husband, Shea of Prosper, Texas, and Julia Henggeler and husband, Michael of Stanberry; one brother, Alvin Tiemeyer and wife, Madonna of Meadville; and six great-grandchildren, Aaron McPherson, Brayden McPherson, Landon Hunt, Jamison Hunt, Jared Henggeler, and Lauren Henggeler.

His parents; and one grandson, Jared Stubblefield preceded him in death.

Dennis D. Matticks

Dennis D. Matticks, age 63 of Eldon, Missouri formerly of Marceline and Bucklin, died Monday, June 4, 2018 at University Hospital in Columbia. Dennis was born in Marceline, Missouri on August 6, 1954 to Harry D. and Flora (Chrisman) Matticks.

Dennis was a Veteran of the United States Navy and worked as a boilermaker with Local #83 of out Kansas City.

He is survived by his mother Flora F. Payne and Vernon of Bucklin, two daughters, Jamie Matticks and husband Jonathan R. Cullihall of Hallsville and Amanda Matticks of Hallsville, sister Kathi Cordingley and Robert of Henderson, Nevada, brother Gary Freeman of Grand Junction, Colorado, four grandchildren, Emily and Katie Magers, Amari and Amelia Matticks, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorial visitation will be from 2-4 PM Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline. Memorials may be made to the family and sent to 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.

William D. “Bill” Rinker

William D. “Bill” Rinker, age 79 of Marceline, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at his home. Bill was born in New London, Missouri on May 16, 1939 to Levi and Cora (Ford) Rinker. He married Marianne Hamblin on October 21, 1961.

Bill was a Veteran of the United States Army and worked in construction.

Survivors include his wife Marianne of the home in Marceline, son Jeffrey Rinker of North Carolina, a sister and 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son William Douglas Rinker Jr., 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Memorial services will be 1 PM Friday, June 8, 2018 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline with private family burial later.

Edwin V. Moore

Edwin V. Moore, age 75, of Purdin, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Life Care Center in Brookfield.

Funeral services are pending at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield.
