Verna Miller, 69, Brookfield, died Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at her home.
Funeral services were held today, Feb. 3, 2010, at Park Baptist Church Fellowship Center, Brookfield. Visitation will be held from 6-8 this evening, Feb. 3, at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home, Brookfield. Burial will be in Calvary Church Cemetery, Cottage Grove, Tenn.
Verna Y. was born May 16, 1940, in Plain City, Ohio, daughter of Homer and Ada Viola (Frey) Yutzy. She married Lester Miller, October 4, 1964.
Survivors include her husband, Lester, of the home; two sons, Conrad Miller and wife, Sarasota, Fla., and Daniel Miller, of the home; two daughters, Karen Eicher and husband, Sterling, Alaska, and Leanna Hershberger and husband, Nickerson, Kan.; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Ivan Yutzy and wife, Linneus, and Milo Yutzy; and five sisters, Erma Kauffman and husband, and Laura Miller and husband, Strawberry, Ark., Bernice Yutzy, Sarasota, Fla., Edna Gingerich and husband, Linneus, and Arlene Schlabach and husband, Monticello, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her children, Tena Marie, Mathew, and Wendell; and a sister, Leah Byler.
