Marcella J. Reed, 85, Marceline, died Tuesday evening, June 23, 2009, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
Funeral services were held today, June 26, 2009, at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline, with Rev. Jason Moore officiating. Burial was in Peden Chapel Cemetery, Marceline.
Marcella was born March 21, 1924, in Minneapolis, Iowa, daughter of George C. and Rebecca (Reid) Reddick.
Marcella worked in a ribbon factory in Norwalk, Ohio, before retiring. She was a member of Marceline First Baptist Church, Women on Mission of the church, and a Marceline resident for the past 17 years.
Survivors include four brothers, Eldon Reddick, state of Illinois, and Harlan, Marvin and Darrell Reddick, Rock Island, Ill.; and a sister and brother-in-law, Lorbetta Verleen (Betsy) and Harley Asher, Marceline.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers.
