Mary Janette Crum, 86, Browning, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, at Sullivan County Memorial Hospital, Milan.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at First Baptist Church, Browning, with Rev. Russell Abbott officiating. Music will be provided by Linda and David Long. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, at Ruschmeier Funeral Home, Browning. Burial will be in Jenkins Cemetery, Browning.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society may be left at or mailed to the funeral home at 206 Highway 5, Browning, Mo.64630.
She was born August 26, 1923, near Milan, daughter of Clyde and Sophia (Yardley) Wages. She married Delwin Crum, February 25, 1946.
Mary Janette worked as assistant cook for 26 years in the Linn County R-1 Schools retiring in June 1994. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 0274 and First Baptist Church, Browning.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry Duane and Mary (Hoppe) Crum, Appleton, Wisc.; a granddaughter and her husband, Heather and Randall Holland, and two great-grandsons, Kyle and Alex, Fond Du Lac, Wisc.; a grandson and wife, Christopher James and Christina Crum, and great-grandson, Connor James, Streamwood, Ill.; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2006; her parents; one brother and sister-in-law, Clyde (Buster) and Ruth (Watson) Wages; and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Doris Lea Wages and Frankie Pearl and Donald Mason.
