Russell Dewayne White, 53, Bozeman, Mont., died Saturday, June 27, 2009, at his home.
A memorial gathering will be held in Montana.

He was born May 13, 1956, in Los Angeles, Calif., son of Ollie and Elvira (Geissler) White. He married Brenda Baskett, May 11, 1985, in Santa Anna, Calif.
Russell served in the United States Army, Missouri National Guard and the Montana National Guard as a Sgt. He had served his country for over 10 years ending in 1998.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda White, of the home; his parents, Ollie and Carol White, state of California, and Elvira and Clint Williams, state of Montana; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Christiane and Richard Batson, Brookfield, Cassandra and Russell Anthony, and Alesha White, state of Montana; one sister and brother-in-law, Laurinda and Steven Fiddler, state of California; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Alan White, state of Nevada, and Mike and Kathy White, state of Colorado; two grandsons, Richard Charles Russell Batson, Brookfield, and Russell John Anthony, Montana; six step-grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter, Gracie Jane White, Brookfield.
