Ronald “Ronnie” Douglas, 65 of Linneus, died August 14 at his home.  Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. August 17 at Lakeside Cemetery, Sumner, with the Rev. Gail Brown officiating.  Memorials have been suggested to Hedrick Medical Center Hospice, or Mendon Christian Church, and may be sent to Rhodes Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be sent to www.rhodesfh.com.
Ronald “Ronnie” was born April 10, 1945 in Chillicothe, son of Ernest E. Sr. and Georgia Lorene (Johnson) Douglas.  On August 24, 1970 he married Judy Carr in Brookfield.
Ronald “Ronnie” is survived by his wife Judy, of the home; two step-daughters, Jan Gaunt, Linneus, and Christine Massey, Lee’s Summit.  Two step-sons, Randi Gaunt, South Carolina; and Cliff Guilford, Brookfield.  Twin brother Donald and Nancy Douglas, Hale.  Special Aunt Margie Ward, Brookfield.  Nine step-grandchildren, 15 step-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.  He also raised two if his step-grandchildren, Brent and Wendi Gaunt.
Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ernest E. Douglas Jr.. and one sister Carol Nickell.
Ronnie was a member of the International Brotherhood Boilermakers Union Local 83, Kansas City, and the First Christian Church of Mendon.  He was an avid football fan, enjoyed fishing, pool, his family and kids.
