Gladys N. Dietzel, 79, Brookfield, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at Life Care Center of Brookfield.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at Rhodes Funeral Home, Brookfield, with Rev. Mike White officiating. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 7-9 that evening at the funeral home.

Gladys Nadine was born January 11, 1931, in St. Catharine, daughter of Caleb Harrison and Amy Ellen (Gardner) Hunt. She married John Dietzel, June 9, 1947, in Troy, Kan.
Survivors include her husband, John, of the home; one adopted daughter, Pam Danner, Moline, Ill.; granddaughter, Johnna Danner, Des Moines, Iowa; a special niece they helped raise, Reita Brumbaugh, Laclede; a special granddaughter, Cassady Sisson, Laclede; two brothers-in-law, Walter (Jim) Gladbach, LaPlata, and Lawrence Dietzel and wife, Judy, Jefferson City; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Wanda Gladbach, Donna Ray Hicks and Nola Pauline Miller; and one brother, William Fay Hunt.
