Donald Glenn Archer, Sr., 60, Jefferson City, died Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, Jefferson City. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

He was born September 30, 1949, in Hamilton, son of Thurman Mack and Helen Margaret (Thomas) Archer. He married Judith Harris, December 6, 1966, in Mexico.
Donald worked as an aide at the Fulton State Hospital in the 1980s before becoming disabled.
Survivors include his wife, Judith, of the home; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Donald, Jr. and Brenda Archer, Jefferson City, Troy and Angela Archer, Holts Summit, and Jessie Archer, Columbia; seven grandchildren, Corey Archer, Jacob Archer, Hope Archer, Sarah Sears, Hannah Sears, Kyle Sears, and Jesse Archer, Jr.; one aunt, Margaret Thomas, Brookfield; one sister, Linda Archer; and one brother, Tony Archer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ronald Archer; and an infant sister, Suzie Archer.
