Wavery "Jean" Quigley, 84, Chillicothe, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008, at Fist Baptist Church, Chillicothe. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Locust Valley Cemetery, Browning.
Memorials to First Baptist Church may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Mo. 64601.
Jean was born March 9, 1924, in Linn County, daughter of Estie Floyd and Hazel (Havens) Bauswell. She married John D. (J.D.) Quigley, November 16, 1950, in Yuma, Ariz. He preceded her in death October 2, 2002.
Jean was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Linn County. After retiring from the farm in Browning, she and her  husband resided in Brookfield before moving to Chillicothe. She was a member of Browning Flower Garden Club.
Survivors include two sons, David Quigley and wife, Chillicothe, and Vick Quigley and wife, Liberty; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; her step-father, Victor Jones; one sister, Beverly Rinehart; and a brother-in-law, Robert Rinehart.
