Robert Ronnie Siemens, 60, Piedmont, Okla., died Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at the V.A. Hospital, Oklahoma City, Okla.
His body was cremated and memorial services were held Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, at Buchanan Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
Ronnie was born August 2, 1950, at the Brookley Air Force Hospital, Mobile, Ala., son of Robert and Ruby (Kilburn) Siemens.
He attended school in New Cambria and Bucklin before his family moved to Kansas City. He served three years in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was awarded a Bronze Star and the Flying Cross for Meritorous Service. He was a car hauler for 33 years.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria; his mother and step-father, Ruby and Rodney Turner, Oklahoma; two daughters and sons-in-law, Ronda and Sam Carico and Stacy and Jeremy Wesley; one son, Bobby; eight grandchildren, Shayla, Abby, and Wyatt Carico, Landon, Koby and Waylon Wesley, and Questen and Casidi Siemens; a step-son and his wife, Bill and Katie Dunn; a step-daughter and her husband, Jesika and Patrick Lambakic; three step-granddaughters, Brook, Summer and Hannah; one sister, Reginia Mason; one nephew, Billy Cobb; two great-nephews, Cody and Jon Cobb; one great-niece, Kayli Cobb; three uncles, David Siemens, Kansas City, Odell Kilburn, Texas, and Donald Kilburn, Florida; three aunts, Wanda and Daniel Ervie, Bucklin, Faye Leppin, Marceline, and Betty and Charles Gladbach, Mendon; several cousins; and many, many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; paternal grandparents, Vernie and Lillian Siemens; maternal grandparents, Oscar and Alfie Kilburn; and three aunts, Nathanlie Vobernik, Dorothy Wolfskill and Joann Shoemaker.
