Linda Lou Fry, 65, Marceline, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at Samaritan Memorial Hospital, Macon.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe, with Rev. Jack Conard officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at Delaney Funeral Home, Marceline. Burial will be in Siloam Chapel Cemetery, rural Marceline.
Memorials to Siloam Chapel Cemetery Association or Highview Baptist Church Building Fund may be left at or mailed to the funeral home at 1720 N. Missouri Ave., Marceline, Mo. 64658.
Linda was born November 13, 1944, in Chillicothe, daughter of George Hadley and Vesta Mae (Carl) Switzer. She married Charles Leroy Fry, July 19, 1964.
Linda had worked at Walsworth Publishing as an editor and typist. She was a 1962 graduate of Northwestern High School, a former member of First Baptist Church and New Hope Baptist Church, both of Marceline, and a member of Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe. She had been a Marceline resident since 1971.
Survivors include her husband, Charles, Marceline; a daughter, Robin Fry, Slater; and a brother, Walter Switzer, Lawson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
