The buildup to Super Bowl 50 has allowed football fans to take a good look into the NFL’s past with repeated highlights from previous Super Bowls.I’ve decided to follow suit with my seventh annual Celebrity Super Bowl Prediction column by doing some reminiscing of my own and have decided to take a stroll down Memory Lane – 80s style.

Reed McBroom (center) the all-time leading rusher in Brookfield Bulldogs football history, and a three-time All-State Linebacker, signed a letter of commitment to continue his career as a student-athlete at Truman State University in Kirksville.

Brookfield High School Wrestlers held their Senior Night on Thursday, January 14, 2016 hosting the Chillicothe Hornets. Six seniors were recognized that evening.

The rivalry dual was also senior night for the Tigers, and they recognized senior manager Krista Hustead (left) and Dalton Fisher (right). Fisher is the all-time wins leader in Marceline High School wrestling history.

The Brookfield Bulldogs wrestling team hosted a quad-meet at Brookfield High School on Thursday, welcoming Hallsville, Centralia and Penney to BHS. The Dogs downed Hallsville and Penney, and were edged by Centralia on this occasion.
