Brookfield's volleyball team fell in straight sets to Concordia on Thursday night at home. The Bulldogs fall to 1-15, and Concordia picks up its third victory of the season with the result.

In the first set, Brookfield battled throughout, but was never able to establish itself or take a lead. The 'Dogs went on to lose that set 25-15, and fell in the second 25-13.

"I know we didn't win, but I thought we played very well," Brookfield coach Amy Dixon said. "We are going in a positive direction for the end of the season instead of not improving."

The Bulldogs play Saturday in Carrollton's tournament. The 'Dogs will have back-to-back matches beginning at 10 a.m., and a third match scheduled for 1 p.m.
