It's tough to have a successful senior night when you don't have any on your roster.
In Tuesday night's final home volleyball match of the year, the Bulldogs fell in straight sets to Mexico, 25-10, 25-13.
The Brookfield side showed a great deal more reason for encouragement than it did at the beginning of the season, even racking up the program's first victory along the way. Although the Bulldogs have been unable to pull out the desired result in 21 of their 22 matches, the team is visibly more comfortable communicating and extending rallies.
Of course, with every single player on the roster eligible to return in the 2018 season, there's no reason to believe the 'Dogs won't be poised to bring home a few victories in the coming years.
Brookfield travels to North Callaway on Thursday before rounding out its regular season in Lathrop on Monday.
