All-District 16 softball teams were chosen last Tuesday, and Marceline was well represented.
Marceline first baseman Darcy Dorrell and Kenzie Stahl in the opposite corner were named as first-team infielders, and shortstop Baylee Jobson was listed on the second team. Brookfield middle-infield combo Fallon Gladbach and Cassi Conard were both listed in the second-team, as well.
Marceline sophomore centerfielder Abbey Kussman was named a first-team outfielder, and junior Maycee Edgar was one of two first-team all-district pitchers alongside Putnam County's Sammi Bradshaw.
Brookfield's Rylee Sensenich was named second-team catcher, and Sydney Wilbeck was the solitary all-district utility player.
The Clarence Cannon all-conference teams were also determined this past week. Wilbeck was the only Bulldog represented, taking the honorable mention spot at the utility position.
