The Brookfield Bulldogs' girls basketball team advanced to 2-1 on Tuesday night when it defeated Carrollton on the road, 59-36.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 27-15 halftime lead, and all but put the game away with an 18-point third quarter.

Cassi Conard, sophomore Bulldog guard, led her side in scoring with 19 points. Kaylie Stufflebean was the only other Brookfield player in double-figures, finishing with 14 points. Rylee Sensenich and Kate Ewing both posted eight points, and all of Ewing's points came from the line.

The Bulldogs host Salisbury on Friday night at 6 p.m.
