The Brookfield girls could not get things rolling Saturday morning at Mizzou's Norm Stewart Classic in Columbia. The Bulldogs fell 55-25 to the Panthers.
An elongated, college-regulation court did no favors to a team whose coach has said it still has yet to get into prime, mid-season condition physically.
Rylee Sensenich led Brookfield with nine points. Regan Wood tacked on seven of her own.
The Bulldogs shot 7-of-38 from the field and were out-rebounded, 48-28. Two of Salisbury's players were in double figures, one of which finished with 19 points.
"We got beat on the boards," Brookfield coach Tony Fairchild said. "Offensively, we are going to have to look to play at a quicker pace, but when teams take that away, we are going to have to run better half-court offense."
