The Brookfield girls' basketball team made the two-hour trip to Louisiana on Friday night, and walked away the victor, 55-52. The Bulldogs return to a .500 record at 4-4, and by the time of this publication, will have traveled to Huntsville to face Westran.
Kaylie Stufflebean led the charge with 16 points, and Cassi Conard had 13. Rylee Sensenich finished the game with 12 points.
Three Louisiana girls were in double-figures in scoring.
"We outscored them 39-21 in the middle quarters," Brookfield coach Tony Fairchild said. "We need to make better decisions when we're playing with the lead."
