The Marceline girls' and boys' basketball teams travelled to Novinger on Tuesday night and split the doubleheader. The girls advanced to one game under .500 at 10-11 when they stomped the Wildcats 71-38.

The boys fell in a close game, 65-60, and fall to 6-12. The Tiger boys are in the midst of a five-game skid. Lance Gladbach led the Tigers with 26 points and knocked down four three-pointers. Levi Terrell finished with 12 points and 10 boards, and Trey Davis posted 10 points.

The Tigers host Westran on Friday.

Linn County v. Bucklin/Macon County

Linn County held its home court for both games in the girl/boy doubleheader on Tuesday night.

The Mustang girls defeated BMC 54-40 on the back of 17 points from Madison Livingston. Jenna Hoerrman finished with 13 points. Kellen Robertson did her thing for Bucklin/Macon County, finishing with 21 points with 16 of them coming in the second half, but it proved too little. Lexi Finney's was BMC's next most effective scorer with seven.

Linn County's girls improve to 7-12 and BMC falls to 5-12.

The Linn County boys put it on BMC, winning 80-39, and posting a 30-point third quarter. Chadley Waltz finished with 16 points for Linn County, and Michael O'Kane and Jase White both had 15.

John Mossbarger led BMC with 15 points. Bryce Passig and Colten Jackson both posted eight.

Linn County's boys advance to 12-8. BMC falls to 0-14.

Marceline wrestling @ Chillicothe

Marceline split a pair of duals in Chillicothe's tri on Tuesday night. The Tigers defeated Centralia 57-18 and lost to the host, 45-32.

Keegan Wright, Colton Fisher, Colton Nelson, Clayton Stallo, Cullen Bruner, Rylan Chrisman, Seth Cupp, and Tyler Morris all won their matches against Centralia.

Wright, Fisher, Chrisman, and Hunter Teeter were the only Marceline wrestlers to win the matches that actually occurred in the dual against Chillicothe. Stallo and Bruner both won due to open weigh slots.

The Tigers wrestle again on Saturday in the Lexington Dual Tournament. This weekend will mark Marceline's last regular-season competition before it hosts the Class 1 District 3 meet the following weekend.
