The Brookfield Bulldogs' golf team was in action on Thursday morning alongside the Marceline Tigers. Brookfield hosted a seven-team meet and finished fourth on the par 72.
La Plata, Moberly, Milan, Putnam County, and Macon all made the trip to Brookfield.
Marceline came in second behind only Macon. Macon's team score of 348 was just four strokes better than Marceline. Each Macon golfer finished within the top 10.
Brookfield's 412 was 40 strokes worse than third-place finisher Moberly.
Marceline senior Trey Hamilton split the individual title with Moberly's Bryson Powell with an 80-stroke round. The Tigers' Cullen Bruner shot an 86 to earn fourth place, and Colby Sims finished with an 89-stroke round to place seventh.
Andrew Bragg was Brookfield's only top-10 finisher, shooting a 93 to finish 10th. Bragg was the only golfer not from Marceline or Macon to place in the top 10.
