The Brookfield junior varsity golf team travelled to Kirksville on Tuesday and competed against seven other schools.

Brookfield shot a round of 498 on the 71-par course to finish sixth of the eight teams.

Avery Schreiner had the Bulldogs' best round, finishing with a 118 across the 18 holes. Jacob Jackman shot 122, Brent Montgomery finished with 128, and Drew Ripley returned to the clubhouse after 130 strokes. Robert Davis finished with a round of 138, making his score irrelevant to the team standings.

Hickman's 375-stroke round was better than runner-up Macon by 36 strokes. Centralia finished third with a round of 424.
