The Brookfield travelled to the Norwoods Golf Course in Hannibal on Thursday morning for the Clarence Cannon Conference golf meet. The Bulldogs finished seventh out of seven full teams.
Neither Louisiana nor South Shelby had full teams, but South Shelby's Kanon Kendrick won the meet with a 74-stroke round.
Palmyra won the meet as a team with a score of 347.
Brookfield shot a 448. Freshman Sam Clarkson was best on the team with a round of 109. Dirk Sattman, also a ninth grader, shot a 110. Andrew Bragg shot a 112, Jarrett Morris finished with a 117, and Dillon Sackrey returned to the clubhouse after 132 strokes.
Brookfield plays again in the district tournament in Lawson on Monday at 8:30 a.m.
