Brookfield freshman cross country athlete Alex Sharp finished second at the Centralia Cross Country Invitational on Tuesday. She finished the five-kilometer course in 21:07, 30 seconds behind North Callaway's Kaleigh Moore. Sharp defeated both of the girls by whom she was bested in the Clarence Cannon meet, including toppling third-place finisher Grace Buschling of Clark County by 20 seconds. Meadville's Dillon Seckington finished fourth in the boys' division with a time of 18:28.

Meadville freshman Maggie McLain was named to the first-team Tri-County Conference all-conference softball team. Senior teammate Makenzie Dennis was listed as a second-team selection. Linn County senior Olivia Bright also made the second team.

Linn County senior Chadley Waltz and Meadville sophomore Conner Fletcher were named to the first-team Tri-County Conference all-conference baseball team. Linn County sophomore Cody Murrell, Meadville junior Dominik Gannon, and Bucklin/Macon County freshman Xavier Lucas were all honored as second-team selections.
