Wednesday evening, the Marceline Tigers and Lady Tigers traveled to Salisbury for a pair of make-up games from earlier in the season.  Both teams ran into a pair of juggernauts, and came home on the short end of both games.
In the opening game, the Lady Tigers had trouble all game long with the third-ranked Lady Panthers.  Marceline scored two points in the first and fourth quarters, and lost this game 66-20.  The Lady Tigers shot 13 percent from the floor, and had no three-pointers.
“We have strung together two sloppy games this week, and the scores have portrayed that,” said Head Coach Kirsten Smith.  “This team is better than what it is showing right now.  Tonight’s game was extremely frustrating; nothing was working right.  We need to fix these problems quickly before we go into Districts next week.”
