Lady Dogs Lose Final Game at Tourney

The Brookfield Lady Dogs took on Putnam County on January 22 in their second game of the Macon Tournament.  The Lady Dogs lost this game, and were eliminated from the event.
Both teams started out slowly, with Brookfield taking an early 4-0 lead.  But, Putnam battled back and the Lady Dogs led 5-4 after one quarter.  Quinsie Gall led scoring with three points in the opening frame.
The teams were evenly matched in the second quarter, with Brookfield holding a slight scoring advantage.  At halftime, the Lady Dogs still led 17-14.  Alyssa Elson had five points in the second quarter.
