Last night on the new field at Rusk Park was the start of the 60th annual 12 and Under baseball tournament.
Three games were played following the opening ceremonies of the event.
Brookfield Strykers 11 Chillicothe Cardinals 1
The first game of the tournament saw the Brookfield Strykers take an 11-1 win over the Chillicothe Cardinals.
For the Strykers, Tucker Noble went 2-3 with a walk.  Ryan Kearns went 4-5 with two runs scored.  Anthony Cupp went 1-4 with a run scored.  Daniel Corbin went 2-4 with a run scored.  Reed McBroom went 3-4 with a run scored.  River Wright went 3-4 with two runs scored.  Andrew Cupp went 2-3 with a walk and a run scored.  Austin Libeer went 2-2 with a walk and a run score.  Trey Batye had a walk and a run scored.  David Keller went 0-2 with a walk.  David Keller went 1-1.  Dane Robertson went 2-4 with a run scored.
