Chillicothe Predators win 60th annual tournament; Brookfield Strykers and Cyclones finish 3-4

The rainy weekend only delayed the ending of the 60th annual 12 and under baseball tournament in Brookfield held at Rusk Park, and sponsored by the Brookfield Parks and Rec. Department.  The results of the Friday and Saturday games are below.
Friday night’s action
Brookfield Cyclones 2  Brookfield Strykers 10
The two Brookfield teams met up Friday evening, in what was a prelude to the tourney’s third place matchup.  In this game, the Strykers took the game by a final score of 10-2.
For the Cyclones, Gage Maxwell went 0-1 with a walk and two stolen bases.  Ryan Elliott went 1-2 with a single.  Trey King went 1-2 with a single.  Cole Hoover went 2-2 with two singles, and three stolen bases.  Nicholas Levell had two walks and one stolen base.
For the Strykers, Tucker Noble went 2-2 with two singles, a walk, and three stolen bases.  River Wright went 2-2 with a walk, two singles, and two stolen bases.  Ryan Kearns went 2-3 with two singles, and two stolen bases.  Daniel Corbin went 1-2 with a single.  Reed McBroom went 1-2 with a double.  Austin Libeer went 2-2 with two singles and two stolen bases.  Dane Robertson went 1-1 with a walk, three stolen bases, and a single.  Trey Batye went 0-1 with a walk.
Brookfield Strykers 1  Macon Tigers 3
In the second game on Friday night, the Strykers lost a close game to the Macon Tigers.
For the Strykers, Noble went 2-3 with a walk and a single.  Wrigth went 1-1 with two walks and two singles.  Kearns went 2-2 with a single, a double, and was hit by a pitch.  Corbin went 1-2 with a single and a walk.  Batye went 1-2 with a single.
In the nightcap on Friday night, the Chillicothe Predators took a 16-0 win over the Chillicothe Cardinals.
