64th annual Linn County Community Chorus Christmas Concert Director Alicyn Enrich led the Linn County Community Chorus annual Christmas Concert, Sunday afternoon, Dec. 5 at the Brookfi�eld Park Baptist Church. Accompanied by cello, flute and piano the group performed solos, duets, and full chorus presentations of popular Christmas music. Bucklin Community Association hosted its annual Christmas gathering last weekend. Santa’s elves hung lights, decorated the Community Building, put up the Christmas tree, filled candy bags, brought cookies and served refreshments, making the annual event another success and a great way for the community to kick-off the holiday season. On Nov. 29, three jury trials were held in the case of the Land of Far Far Away vs. Goldilocks. The jurors in all three trials were composed of 5th and 6th graders – who were duly summoned to court for jury duty, according to Linn County Prosecutor Shiante McMahon who said the activity is designed to help teach students about the court process.
