Gamble Denied Bond

Last week, bond was denied to Jessica Nicole Gamble, 27, Chillicothe for the charges of abuse or neglect of a child – serious emotional or physical injury – no sexual contact. Gamble who told the court in her first appearance, that she is pregnant, will remain in custody with no bond allowed.

Schneider Recognized By Missouri Rural Water Association

The City of Brookfield recently announced that the city’s Chief Water Plant Operator Al Schneider was recognized on behalf of Missouri Rural Water Association’s magazine “Rural Water Lines”. In a post on social media, Schneider was thanked for his service. “Water treatment plant operators have a tremendous responsibility to provide safe and available water to our community.”

Brookfield Basketball Squads Struggle In League Play

BROOKFIELD — The early stages of 2021-22 Clarence Cannon Conference basketball competition hasn’t ended well for the Brookfield High squads. Including this past Tuesday’s home defeats at the hands of Centralia – 49-29 in girls’ play and 60-35 in boys’, the blue-and-white teams were 0-3 in the loop (with Friday home contests against Clark County in the intervening time since this story was filed).
