Brookfield Girls Bring Home Two State Wrestling Medals

COLUMBIA — Senior Oscarina Jackson and freshman Riley Howell battled their way to 2022 MSHSAA Wrestling Championships medals last week. Each reached the fifth-place bout in the single-classification, double-elimination tournament, with Howell capping her initial state appearance with an 8-3 winning decision over Cosette Jorgensen of Independence: William Chrisman in that final bout.
