HIGGINSVILLE — With a pair of district champions in young Drew Griffin and veteran Hunter Nelson and three other district finalists in their number, the Marceline High School wrestling Tigers will be well-represented and figure to fare quite well in this week’s Class 1 state tournament at the University of Missouri’s Mizzou Arena.
Last Saturday area residents celebrated the launch of a new exhibit at North Missouri Art Council (NOMO). Organizers said there was a “wonderful turnout” to celebrate the art of Mary Gibson. In addition to Gibson’s art there are several other pieces by other area artists also on display. The art gallery is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, the same hours as Paper Station. Entry is through the paper stations at 109 S. Main St., Marceline. Gibson is pictured with her art, along with other pieces of her art on display.
