Marceline Took Baseball Opener Friday

The 2022 season fully began for another county school’s spring team last Friday when Marceline’s baseball Tigers steamrolled host Glasgow 11-3. That same afternoon, Brookfield’s track-and-field squads had their first outdoors meet of the season, competing in an “open,” non-team-scoring meet at East Buchanan High School at Gower.

Deadline Set to Renew Expiring Conservation Stewardship Program Contracts

Missouri producers who have an active 2018 Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP) Classic, CSP-Renewal or CSP Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) contract that will be expiring at the end of 2022, have until April 15, to apply for potential renewal of their contract for an additional five years. Contract holders can visit their local USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) office to complete the required renewal process.
