The 9th Circuit Juvenile Office recently hosted a vaping diversion program for local youth at the Marceline Police Department. Following the presentation the Juvenile Office released these facts on social media.

Michael Thomas Gulley, 45, Marceline, has been charged with in two separate cases with first degree sexual abuse. On March 31, Gulley was charged with felony first-degree sexual abuse and fourth - assault, from crimes alleged to have occurred between July 20, 2021 and Aug.
CHILLICOTHE — Having previously excelled individually with two victories and one runnerup finish in races two, four and eight times as long, Brookfield High School senior star Alexandra “Alex” Sharp was only one single trip around the Jerry Litton Memorial Stadium II all-weather track away from gaining the distinction of being the 14-schools meet’s top female individual points scorer in last Friday’s Chillicothe Joe Shy Relays track-and-field meet, but she’d need help from three teammates to make that last circuit pay off
Recently, Camryn Burgener and Gaven Schreiner were named Marceline R-V Middle and High School Students of the Week. Burgener’s activities include softball, basketball, FCCLA, Art Club and Interact. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and family. Schreiner’s activities include football, wrestling and math league. In his free time he enjoys hanging out with friends and family.
Hazel & Grace - a boutique clothing and accessories store - is the newest business to open along Main Street USA in downtown Marceline. Tori Davis, owner, said the store, located in the historic and recently revamped Zurcher Building will open officially on Saturday, April 16.
The high school baseball season for the smaller schools in or overlapping Linn County picked up a little steam last week. Meadville finally got a second game in last Thursday and posted a second victory, besting visiting Gilman City/ North Daviess 7-3.
